On Windows 7 and Windows 8, my Legal Works documents appear truncated when opened.

On Windows Vista, my Legal Works documents appear truncated when opened.


Why does Hamorabi's installer take a very long time to start on Windows Vista or Windows 7?

When Hamorabi's setup program is started, it seems that Windows Vista or Windows 7 performs a scan on the whole installer file, and then it copies it to the hard disk, and after that it starts it. Since that this installer file is very large (larger than 400MB), these two operations take a considerable time to finish on some computers.
This behaviour does not happen on Windows operating systems prior to Vista.
Even though we have carefully followed Microsoft's instructions at the time of preparing the installer, Windows would still do these operations. We have found out that the only way we know of to avoid this problem is to disable the UAC (User Account Control) feature from the Control Panel. However, we do not recommend this solution at all.
